What people say about our plumbers
“We had Johnny from all day plumbing who came out and replaced our old mixer tap and did a fantastic job. He was easy to deal with, worked efficiently and left everything clean and tidy. The new mixer was installed perfectly and the work was completed to a high standard. Very happy with the result. He even went to the extra step and cleaned out the waste trap under the sink to ensure his work was completed to a high standard.”

Urgent, or can it wait?
Some problems need a plumber now, such as a burst pipe, sewage backing up into the house or gas you can smell. Water near electrics and a leaking hot water tank are urgent too. A dripping tap, one slow drain or a toilet that keeps running can wait for a booked time. They still waste water, so book them in rather than leaving them.
Saving water at home
New taps, showers and toilets sold in Australia carry a WELS water rating label, which helps when you choose fittings. A leak you can’t see can also waste water for months. Sydney Water may also credit part of the extra water charge once a licensed plumber finds and repairs a hidden leak. More on water efficiency.
Check our licence
Our contractor licence, 339748C, is current and covers plumbing, drainage, roof plumbing, gasfitting and LPG gasfitting. Anyone can check it on Verify NSW, the NSW Government’s public licence register, which also shows any disciplinary record. Ours has none.
How a job works
- Ring 1300 301 354 and explain what has happened.
- We agree a time window, or come straight away if it is urgent.
- A licensed plumber inspects it and quotes a fixed price. From Monday to Friday between 7am and 5pm, that visit costs nothing.
- You decide. Work only starts once you’ve accepted the price.
- We do the work, test it and tidy up.
What does a plumber cost?
Every job gets a fixed price before work begins. What drives it is the work, the parts and how easy the pipes are to reach.
Weekday call-outs between 7am and 5pm are $0. Outside those hours, including public holidays, an after-hours visit costs between $275 and $385 with GST, and we tell you the figure when you call. The work itself carries no after-hours loading and is quoted at normal rates. Booking online takes $50 off the quote, once you accept it.
For hot water systems, the price tool on our hot water installation page shows fixed, installed prices for each size and brand.

Plumbing questions
It depends on the job, the parts and the access. You see a fixed price first and decide before we begin.
Not for weekday visits from 7am until 5pm. In those hours, we inspect the job and price it for free. At other times an after-hours call-out applies, from $275 to $385 with GST, confirmed before we set off.
Yes. We are open around the clock, every day, and we attend after hours. After-hours work is priced before it starts, like any other job.
Yes. Small jobs are welcome, and they are priced before we start like any other. If you have a few, list them when you book so we can do them in one visit.
Yes. We fit taps, toilets and fixtures you’ve bought, or we can supply them. Show the plumber the style you like and you’ll get a quote.
Yes. In NSW, plumbing, draining and gasfitting work all need a licence or certificate. A licensed plumber also knows the rules that apply, such as the hot water temperature limits for bathrooms.
They are different licence categories in NSW, and gas work needs the right gasfitting licence or certificate. Gas jobs are also certified differently from water and drainage work. We have licensed gas fitters for gas work.
Turn off every tap and appliance that uses water, then read the water meter. Use no water for at least an hour and read it again. If the numbers have moved, there is likely a leak somewhere, and a leak detection visit can find it.
Yes. Strata managers, schools, government sites and businesses book us as well as home owners. The commercial plumbing page covers maintenance, testing and paperwork for larger sites.
Clear the area around the problem and move anything that could get wet or in the way. Know where your water meter is, in case the water needs to go off. If water is pouring out, close the meter tap straight away.
