Stormwater pits that collect the water
A stormwater pit collects water from the yard, a driveway or the downpipes and feeds it into the stormwater lines. We install new pits and grates where water collects, connect them to the existing lines, and fix pits that are broken, blocked or sitting too high.

Constitution Hill, August 2026: a broken line trenched to the front-yard pit
The owner reported a damaged pipe in the front yard. We dug down and found a charged stormwater line from a rainwater tank, then dug a trench towards the existing stormwater pit. The photo shows the new pipe laid in the open trench.
North Kellyville, September 2026: a pit riser cut down
The customer had a stormwater pit riser that sat too high and was a trip hazard. We cut the riser down as far as we could, sealed the lid down and cleaned up.
Kenthurst, July 2026: blocked downpipe pits cleared
The customer had multiple blocked downpipes on the property. We removed all the debris from the pits, then cleared all the lines with our jet blaster. We used a CCTV camera to make sure the lines were clear and in good condition.

Lines from a rainwater tank
A charged stormwater run can hold water between rain events because of the pipe levels and layout. At one Constitution Hill property, we found a damaged charged line associated with a rainwater tank, and trenched towards the front-yard stormwater pit.
Pits that sit too high
A pit that sits too high can be a trip hazard. We can cut the riser down and seal the lid, as at a North Kellyville property in September 2026.
What does a stormwater pit cost?
The price is fixed before any work starts. It depends on:
- The size and type of pit or drain.
- Digging through soil, paving or concrete.
- How far it is from the stormwater lines.
