We plumb restaurant and cafe fit-outs, look after strata buildings and schools, and fix the faults that stop a business trading. Licensed plumbers do the work, and a licensed gas fitter handles anything on gas.

Commercial fit-outs we’ve completed
Bankstown, July 2026: an office building turned into Shareefs
An office building was being converted into Shareefs, a quick-service restaurant, with a lot of plumbing to fit into a small footprint. In the basement, we set up a two-pump system for groundwater seeping in, plus trade waste and sewer pump-outs. A new 1,500 litre grease arrestor went in underground in the car park, and the shop got a new connection to the gas main. The fit-out also included a backflow prevention valve, with its test and report.

Carlingford: plumbing for Communion Cafe
Communion Cafe, a new cafe in Carlingford, needed all of its internal plumbing. We fitted it out, from the drainage inside the shop to a fire box housing the gas meter.

Blacktown, 2024: El Jannah’s move into Westpoint
When El Jannah moved its Blacktown restaurant into Westpoint, we did all of the plumbing inside the new shop. That covered the sinks, the hot water unit and the gas manifold that feeds the cookers.

Hot water limits in schools, childcare and aged care
NSW sets a lower limit for hot water at basins, showers, baths and bidets in some places. It is 45°C in:
- the parts of schools and early childhood centres used by children
- the residential parts of aged care buildings
- patient care areas in health care buildings
- facilities designated for people with a disability
Everywhere else, the limit is 50°C. In the 45°C areas, the device holding the limit must be a thermostatic mixing valve or a thermostatically controlled tap. We test and service these valves on a schedule, so they keep doing that job.
Strata: common property or lot?
In a NSW strata scheme, the owners corporation must repair and maintain common property. The NSW Government’s guide puts plumbing in boundary walls and under the floor with the owners corporation. Plumbing in internal walls, and fixtures such as toilets, sinks, baths and showers, generally sit with the lot owner. Check the strata plan and by-laws before booking a repair. Where a scheme is unsure, it can adopt the government’s common property memorandum.
Grease traps and backflow
Restaurants, takeaway shops and function centres generally need Sydney Water’s formal approval to discharge trade wastewater. Only low-risk processes, which Sydney Water calls deemed processes, are exempt. Most businesses must install and maintain a grease trap or other pre-treatment equipment, as their permit sets out. We install grease traps and keep the lines to them clear.
Every property connected to Sydney Water’s pipes needs the right backflow prevention device for its hazard rating. Medium and high hazard devices are tested when installed and every year after, by an accredited backflow plumber. The results go to Sydney Water within two days of the test. The owner arranges the testing and keeps the device maintained. We test and repair devices, and lodge the results for you.
