We isolated the water, disconnected the trap and removed the broken basin top. We supplied and installed a new basin top with a new plug and waste, refitted the existing mixer and connected it to the water. Then we tested the basin for leaks, sealed around the new top with white silicone and cleaned up.
August 2026: a leaking hose tap replaced and secured. The customer’s hose tap was leaking, and there was no peg holding it and its copper pipe in place. We turned the water off at the meter, removed the old hose tap and installed a new one, then fitted a new peg to secure it. We turned the water back on and tested the tap.
July 2026: a water line run to a new fridge. The customer had bought a new fridge that needed a water supply. We ran a new water line under the house and brought it up through the cupboard space next to the fridge. We installed a new isolation valve and a filter for the fridge, flushed water through the fridge outlet and cleaned up.

Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm, excluding public holidays: the advertised call-out fee is $0. This includes attendance, roughly ten minutes of basic hand-tools assessment and a fixed quote. Replacement parts, specialist equipment, excavation and further work are quoted separately before use.
Nights, weekends and public holidays: the attendance charge is $275 to $385 including GST. The exact amount is confirmed before dispatch. It includes the initial assessment of around ten minutes and simple assistance or making safe where possible; additional repairs are quoted at normal rates without an extra after-hours loading.
