All Day Plumbing works in Girraween from our Seven Hills base. If a toilet will not stop running, a water pipe is leaking beneath concrete or a hot water system has stopped working, our licensed plumbers can inspect the problem and provide a fixed quote before further work starts. We arrange an attendance window when you book, rather than promising a particular arrival time.
Three recent Girraween jobs show the different issues we work on locally: an inlet valve that kept a toilet running, a pinhole leak in a concealed copper pipe, and a failed hot water system serving a granny flat. These are real completed jobs with photographs of the plumbing before and after the work. We answer the phone 24 hours a day. The $0 call-out applies Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm, excluding public holidays.
Recent plumbing jobs in Girraween
October 2026: a toilet that kept running. Water was running continuously in a toilet cistern at a Girraween home. The inlet valve had failed, but the isolation valve was located behind the toilet, making access more involved than a simple cistern repair. We cut away the existing silicone and removed the toilet pan to reach the isolation point. After isolating the water we replaced the inlet valve, reinstalled the toilet, restored the supply, tested for leaks and resealed around the pan. The photographs show the old and replacement cistern fittings; they do not show the pan removal itself.

September 2026: a hidden water leak beneath concrete. A customer noticed water continually running into the garden area. Our technician used leak-detection equipment to find the source beneath the concrete. After cutting an opening and excavating to the pipe, we found a small pinhole leak in a copper water line. We removed the faulty section, installed new copper pipework, restored the water and tested the repair. The area was then backfilled and the concrete reinstated. The after photograph shows the repaired copper section before it was buried again, not the final concrete surface.

August 2026: a granny flat without hot water. The hot water system serving a granny flat had failed, leaving the occupants without hot water. Our plumbers isolated the supply and power, removed the failed unit and installed a replacement heater. Water and power were restored, the plumbing was checked for leaks and the work area cleaned. The photographs show the old unit beside the wall and the replacement installed in its place. No claim is made about a particular warranty or product efficiency rating.

What we repair and install in Girraween
Running toilets and faulty valves. A toilet that keeps filling may have a faulty inlet valve, a float problem or a separate flush-valve fault. We inspect the cistern before recommending parts. Some installations have accessible isolation taps, while others require more work to reach the water connection. The Girraween inlet-valve job above is an example of why a fixed price depends on access and the fitting involved. See our toilet installation and repair information.
Hidden water leaks. Damp ground, water appearing beside a driveway, or an unusually high water bill can point to a concealed leak. We investigate rather than assuming where the pipe has failed. Depending on the pipe and location, specialist detection may identify a smaller area to open before the repair is quoted. If excavation is required, the scope should also cover access, backfilling and surface reinstatement. Learn about leak detection.
Hot water replacements. When a hot water unit stops heating or develops a leak, we check the existing system and discuss repair or replacement options. A small granny flat may have different hot water requirements from a large family home, so the choice of unit depends on the property’s needs and services. Our team installs and tests the agreed plumbing connections, with any regulated electrical work handled by appropriately licensed tradespeople. Read about hot water repairs and hot water installation.
Blocked drains, toilets and sewer lines. Constant water entering a cistern is a different problem from a blocked sewer. We check the cause and can quote drain clearing, jetting, camera inspections or pipe repairs if the drainage is obstructed. See our blocked drain services.
Other plumbing maintenance. We also handle leaking taps, deteriorated pipework, appliance connections and planned maintenance in homes and business premises. Our Sydney plumbing services and commercial plumbing pages explain the wider work we undertake.
Gas plumbing and emergencies. Gas concerns require licensed inspection and repair. Our phones are answered 24/7 for urgent faults, and we explain attendance fees before dispatch. See gas plumbing and emergency plumbing.
How our Girraween plumbing visits work
- Tell us what is happening. Let us know whether water is escaping, hot water has stopped or another fixture is faulty.
- Confirm the attendance window and fees. We explain the relevant call-out terms and give you a practical booking window.
- A licensed plumber checks the cause. Where possible, the first assessment uses hand tools. More involved testing is separately quoted.
- Approve a fixed quote. We describe the proposed repair or replacement before additional work starts.
- We carry out the agreed work and test it. Once finished, the plumber checks the installation and tidies the work area.
What plumbing work costs
Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm, excluding public holidays: the call-out is $0. This covers attendance, a brief check using hand tools, around 10 minutes of assessment and a fixed quote. CCTV inspections and other specialist investigations are quoted separately before use.
Nights, weekends and public holidays: the call-out is $275 to $385 including GST. We confirm the exact amount on the phone before the plumber leaves. It covers attendance and a short initial task, often making the property safe. Any further work is quoted at normal rates, with no additional after-hours loading.
The final repair cost depends on access and the work required. Reaching the isolation point behind a toilet, cutting concrete around a buried pipe and replacing a hot water heater are different scopes. We’ll explain the price before further work starts.

Girraween plumbing questions
Yes. A faulty inlet valve, float or flush mechanism can cause continuous running water. We assess the cistern and quote the necessary repair. One Girraween job required removing and resealing the toilet to access the water isolation behind it.
We use leak-detection equipment where appropriate to narrow down the likely pipe fault. A Girraween water leak was found beneath concrete and traced to a pinhole in copper pipework. We then removed the leaking section, installed new copper and reinstated the affected area.
Surface reinstatement depends on the agreed scope and access requirements. In the documented Girraween driveway job, the affected area was backfilled and the concrete reinstated after the pipe repair. We describe excavation and reinstatement work in the quote before it begins.
Yes. We can assess the existing hot water unit and quote a suitable replacement. A Girraween granny flat had a failed heater that we replaced and tested. The type and size of a new system depend on the property and its available services.
The standard weekday call-out is $0 from 7am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. It covers a short hand-tools check and a fixed quote. More extensive investigation, materials and repairs are quoted separately.
Our phones are answered 24 hours a day. The after-hours call-out is $275 to $385 including GST and we confirm the exact amount before dispatch. The initial visit may involve making the plumbing safe, with further repair work separately quoted at normal prices.
